This November, The Philly Blokes are growing, moving, and raising awareness for men’s health — because it’s personal.
My Dad passed away from kidney cancer at the young age of 63, and this is my way to pay tribute to him and to remind all men to stay on top of their health. Life moves fast, but regular checkups and early detection can save lives.
Our cause also hits close to home within our team. One of our own battled colon cancer in his early-30s — and today, he’s a year and a half cancer-free. His strength and perspective remind us every day why taking care of yourself matters, no matter your age.
We’re doing this to honor the ones we’ve lost, to celebrate the ones still fighting, and to push for a future where more men live longer, healthier lives.

From Governor Shapiro to the owners of Zahav to Joey Merlino to Martha Graham Cracker, Kyle Kielinski has photographed them all. We were excited to host Kyle for a speed-shooting pop-up session at Philly Bloke on November 13th, 2025.
Proceeds from this event were donated to men’s health charity Movember.
